Apollon Wealth Management Expands National Reach with Motley Fool Wealth Management Acquisition

Charleston, S.C., April 7, 2026 – Apollon Wealth Management, LLC (“Apollon”) today announced the completion of its acquisition of Motley Fool Wealth Management, LLC (“Fool Wealth”), a registered investment advisory firm founded in 2014.

The acquisition adds a highly aligned team to Apollon’s growing national platform and advances the firm’s commitment to delivering comprehensive, planning-first financial advice.

“Apollon was built to enrich the lives of clients through thoughtful, collaborative financial planning,” said Michael Dolberg, Founding Partner and CEO of Apollon Wealth Management. “Motley Fool Wealth Management shares that same long-term, client-first philosophy. This partnership strengthens our ability to deliver highly personalized advice supported by broader planning capabilities, deeper investment resources, and institutional-level infrastructure.”

Clients will benefit from a more integrated wealth management experience—grounded in a comprehensive financial plan and guided by Apollon’s FAR framework: establishing a strong Foundation, navigating Ascent through life’s complexities, and positioning for long-term Return. Every client relationship begins with that plan, which directly informs how portfolios are constructed and evolve over time. Apollon manages over 100 proprietary strategies—many investing in individual securities—alongside access to a broad range of third-party strategies and alternative investments. While ETFs and mutual funds remain part of the toolkit, they are not the default. This approach, supported by expanded capabilities across investments, tax strategy, estate planning, and risk management, enables the delivery of precision-built, institutional-quality portfolios engineered around each client’s objectives, risk parameters, and tax profile—not a standardized template. Apollon’s open-architecture approach and centralized Investment Committee further provide flexibility, disciplined oversight, and alignment with each client’s unique objectives.

The Motley Fool Wealth Management team, led by President and advisor Megan Brinsfield, MAcc, CPA, CFP®, joins Apollon and will continue serving clients with continuity and dedicated support. The team includes:

  • Megan Brinsfield, MAcc, CPA, CFP®

“Continuing the Foolish legacy at Apollon is a natural progression of the foundation we’ve built with our clients over the past 12 years,” said Megan Brinsfield, MAcc, CPA, CFP®, President of Motley Fool Wealth Management. “Many of our clients have been waiting for us to be their trusted advisor across a wider scope of capabilities, and at Apollon, we can now deliver on that in a much more comprehensive way. Bringing together the full financial planning suite with a flexible investment framework—including direct security selection, proprietary strategies, and access to a wide range of third-party and alternative solutions—it adds fuel to the collaborative work we’ve already been doing. I’m confident that our clients are going to feel right at home in the Apollon ecosystem.”

“In partnerships, we look for passionate people on a lifelong mission to help others,” said Tom Gardner, CEO of The Motley Fool, LLC. “Apollon’s people are top-notch. They share our commitment to principled, long-term financial advice, and we’re excited to see this next chapter create even more opportunity for clients and advisors alike.”
