Interactive Brokers: Clients can add funds to eligible accounts directly through the Motley Fool Wealth Management dashboard. By logging on and then selecting “Deposit” you can follow the screen to link a bank account and then add funds to your investment account via ACH transfer.
If your account is not eligible for additions on the Fool Wealth dashboard or if you would like to process a withdrawal then you will need to log in to your account at Interactive Brokers to process money movement requests. A complete guide to deposits and withdrawals can be found here.
Charles Schwab: There are several ways to move money or assets in and out of your accounts at Schwab, including via wire transfer or MoneyLink. To learn more about your options, click here or give us a call to assist in making the right decision.
Please note that if you request a withdrawal in excess of the current cash balance available in your account, we will make the trades necessary to raise the cash, but must allow time for settlement before distributing the funds. For retirement account types, that may take up to three business days.
