How Do I Check The Performance Of My Personal Portfolio?

Performance is most easily viewed by logging into your Interactive Brokers account directly via the Interactive Brokers website, which you can access by clicking here.

Once logged into your account, follow the steps below to view the Portfolio Analyst tool and related reports.

  • Expand the Menu by clicking the icon in the upper left-hand corner of the page
  • Click on the Portfolio Analyst heading in the list of options

Your recent account value will be charted on the screen. You may change the time intervals.

On the right hand side of the screen under the Reports heading, you can also run preconfigured reports including “Month to Date”, “Year to Date” or “Since Inception” snapshot or detailed reports. To access the full user guide explaining how to configure automated reports using PortfolioAnalyst, please click here.

Please note that the performance figures in Interactive Broker’s report may not take into consideration the impact of fees (especially for those clients that have paid an upfront flat fee that was not deducted from their accounts). Fees impact your investment, so it’s important you understand them.

If you have any trouble following those steps, or any questions about the Portfolio Analyst, you can reach our dedicated Motley Fool Wealth Management support team at 844-408-4390.
