How do I terminate my relationship with MFWM?

We hope it’s not something we did, but understand that break-ups are necessary.

If you decide this program isn't right for you and you no longer want MFWM to manage your money, simply contact our team by sending your request to  support@foolwealth.com or calling us at (844) 408-4390 during business hours, Monday through Friday between 9AM and 5PM ET.

Discussing your decision with a Wealth Advisor is always encouraged, so don’t hesitate to reach out. Remember, as fiduciaries we are legally bound to prioritize your interests over our own. 

Ending our management of your account is called detachment. The detachment process is dependent on which custodian holds your account(s). Below are the custodian specific details:

Interactive Brokers (IB) - processes detachment requests once per week, and must be submitted by Thursday morning. Please note that it may take up to 10 business days for your account to be disassociated from MFWM, and during this interval, we may make trades in your account. Once your account has been detached, you will be given exclusive access to trade in that account.

Charles Schwab - Schwab processes detachment requests daily and can usually complete them within 24 hours. Once your account has been detached, you will be given exclusive access to trade in that account.
