A little bit more about Ben...
Before joining Fool Wealth, I was a member of the #1-ranked Institutional Investor research team at Bank of America/Merrill Lynch. As a fundamentals-focused, business-first investor, I appreciate Fool Wealth’s unwavering focus on business model, valuation, and quality when choosing investments for our clients.
I became interested in investing during my second year of college. At that point, I had to chalk up two years spent studying Mechanical Engineering to a “sunk cost,” but I've never looked back from there. I graduated with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Statistics. In many ways, investing is a never-ending educational journey – studying companies, industries, management, technology, government, policies, and geopolitics. There’s never a shortage of interesting factors that impact the market from day to day. It’s my job to try and make sense of it all, and how it could affect your portfolio.
