A little bit more about Liz...
Pursuing a career in finance was a no-brainer for me. I started working at my dad’s venture capital firm in high school, and my mom is a dedicated CPA. Our dinner table discussions often centered around deals my dad was working on, or complicated tax returns my mother was completing, and I was fascinated by all of it. Between my love of finance and love of helping others, wealth advising was my clear path – and continues to be my passion today.
I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from Auburn University and launched my career at Wells Fargo Advisors as an Associate Financial Advisor, where I received my Series 7, Series 66 and Life and Health Insurance designations. Then, in 2017, I obtained my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation. Giving back to my community has also been a priority throughout my career, as I’ve sat on eight nonprofit boards, most often in a finance capacity.
To me, a long-term perspective is foundational to the financial planning process – I often tell my clients that even a small contribution to your investment account each month could potentially make a vast difference in retirement. Overall, I love to educate individuals and families on the importance of compounding, investing, and thoughtful, goals-based planning.
